Apparently, these "gurus" are promoting traffic strategies like pay-per-click, blogging, and viral videos. They're saying not to worry about organic search marketing because it's a waste of time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why are they saying not to worry about organic search? Easy... they're promoting products for pay-per-click, blogging, and viral videos strategies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now all those are valuable sources of traffic, but they don't hold a candle to the free search engines!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's why, anyone who says that Google, Yahoo! and MSN are a waste of time doesn't know how to get good rankings for their own sites! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Instead of admitting they don't know how to market their own businesses in the search engines, they'd rather lie to internet 'new comers' and say it's not important.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Does the benefit you’ll receive justify the effort to understand SEO (Organic Search)? Well, in my humble opinion... absolutely!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Research has shown that a listing in the organic search engines will get 3 times as many click-throughs as the equivalent pay-per-click listing. AND, it'll have a 17% higher sales conversion!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My advice, learn from those who have done it before. Search engine marketing isn't rocket science. It's a process.
